Meet Guava!
Guava is one of fourteen precious Great Pyrenees/Doberman puppies who entered a high-euthanasia shelter with their mama. When their mom developed mastitis, Guava and most of his siblings had to be bottle-fed — and he has grown into a strong, happy, full-of-life little guy.
Guava is your classic rough-and-tumble boy. He loves to wrestle with his siblings, bounce around the yard, and turn just about anything into a game. If there’s a chew toy nearby, you can bet he’s claiming it as his prize. He’s confident, playful, and always ready for the next adventure.
While he’s definitely one of the more playful pups in the bunch, he’s still a sweet baby at heart. After he’s gotten his wiggles out, he’s happy to recharge and soak up some love.
Guava would absolutely thrive in a home with another playful dog who can help show him the ropes and match his energy. A confident canine buddy would be right up his alley and help him grow into the best boy he can be.
Because he’s still young, Guava is at the perfect age to learn and adapt beautifully. With proper introductions and continued socialization, he should do well with dogs, cats, kids, or an active family ready for puppy fun.
Guava is 7 weeks old and ready to go to foster-to-adopt!
What does Foster-to-Adopt mean?
It means you bring Guava home as a foster while he finishes up any remaining vetting (such as vaccines or neuter, if age-appropriate). Once his vetting is completed through our rescue, the adoption gets finalized. It’s a great way to ensure a smooth transition while we complete his medical care!
If you’re looking for a playful, toy-loving, wrestle-all-day kind of pup, Guava might just be your perfect match.
