Great Pyrenees and Anatolian Shepherd Dogs Available for Adoption in Friendswood, Texas

ANGEL EVER AFTER

Great Pyrenees, Anatolian Shepherd
🇺🇸
Friendswood, Texas
April 25th
female, large, adult

DESCRIPTION

Angel is exactly who her name says she is. Honestly, minus the heavenly harps playing, she walks into every space with a soft, steady peacefulness. The day that we met her we all agreed that she melted away whatever stress we had been carrying. She is 75lbs of chill adoration.

She’s estimated to be around 4 years old, weighs 74 lbs, and looks very much like a Great Pyrenees, though rescue rules apply, so her exact breed and birthday are observational and not guaranteed.

Go watch Angel in action on YouTube, t’s the best way to see just how naturally she settles into everything around her, then come back to read a bit more about her.

Angel is currently fostered in a home with two adults, a newborn baby, and three large dogs, and she has been nothing short of a dream. House trained, crate trained, and full of those easy, respectful house manners that make her easy to have… she just gets it. Her foster shares that she’s incredibly smart and has blended into their daily life without a ripple. All four dogs free roam together without issue, and Angel doesn’t even need a crate because she has proven to be so trustworthy in the home.

She’s a low-key, go-with-the-flow kind of girl. Not in a hurry, not looking to stir things up, just happy to exist alongside her people and enjoy the moment. She greets new people with a gentle, loving energy and happily accepts all the pets you’re willing to give. With the newborn baby, she has been calm, respectful, and completely appropriate, which speaks volumes about her steady, thoughtful temperament.

With other animals, Angel continues to show just how well-rounded she is. She’s done beautifully with both large and small dogs and our house cat.. When introduced to him cat, she gave a polite sniff and then chose to focus on her people instead, keeping a respectful, easy distance. It’s that easy going kind of “live and let live” attitude that’ll make joining a multi-pet home feel simple.

Angel would be perfectly happy as a solo dog soaking up all your love, or as part of a pack. A home with a yard would suit her best so she can wander, stretch her legs, and enjoy the world at her own pace. One small note, thunderstorms aren’t her favorite, so a little extra comfort during stormy weather will be needed and go a long way for her.

If you are a lover of the breed, or just fell for the floor and the face, here is your chance! No more waiting for that calm, steady, truly good dog who fits into life without asking for much in return… you have found it! Angel is ready and waiting for you!

Apply today! A girl like her will not be available for long.
