In his previous life, Phoenix was known as a bit of a runner and was often on the loose — but since settling in and getting neutered, he’s been showing everyone just how much he wants stability. Now, he’ll literally beat on the door to be let back inside after only a few minutes because he wants to be right where he belongs: with you.

Phoenix does great with both large and small dogs, and he handles city life wonderfully. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be your shadow — wherever you are, that’s where he wants to be too.

He’s very sweet, highly motivated (especially for a Kong!), eager to learn, and eager to please. Phoenix would thrive in a home that wants a loyal best friend who just wants to be part of everything.
