Micah came to the shelter when his owner could no longer care for him. He is a year and a half year old boy growing into his body and learning to be a dog.
In the yard, Micah romps, jumps, and plays like a puppy. Watching him cavort around the yard is comical and endearing. His leash skills are improving daily, and he desperately wants to please his humans. One of his favorite things is leaning in for petting and he doesn't quite understand that he is a bit big to be a lap dog!
He is also cat and dog social as well as crate trained which makes him highly desirable. Micah is the perfect family companion - one that will provide hours of love, affection, and entertainment.
The shelter has an appointment only policy. We ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting. The staff is very accommodating, and we welcome any inquires.
