Meet Ripley!
Ripley is a 2-year-old Great Dane who is equal parts gentle giant and lovable goofball. He knows sit and paw, loves being close to his people, and is a professional at the classic Great Dane lean. If you're standing still, expect him to use you for support while soaking up some affection.
Ripley is amazing with cats and does well with other dogs, though he occasionally forgets that he weighs about as much as a small horse. Sometimes he needs a gentle reminder to mind his manners, but he always means well.
He is currently working on his leash skills and has been doing very well using a Gentle Leader. As with most Danes... yes, the drool is real. Keep a towel handy and you'll be juuuuust fine!
Because of his size and breed-specific needs, Ripley is looking for an adopter with prior Great Dane experience who understands giant breeds and can continue helping him be the best giant gentleman he can be.
If you've been looking for a dog who thinks he's a lap dog despite all evidence to the contrary, Ripley is ready to lean into your life.
