This young Great Dane mix is 82 pounds of sweetness wrapped in a slightly awkward, still-growing body. When she first arrived at the shelter, the world felt like a pretty scary place—but even then, she showed her soft heart by leaning her whole self into her handler, soaking up every bit of comfort and affection she could find.


She’s still building confidence and figuring things out, including how to be a dog. Playtime with other pups is a work in progress, and her youthful goofiness shines through in the most endearing ways. Think big baby energy with a dash of clumsy charm.


What she needs most is a patient, understanding home—someone who will let her move at her own pace while gently introducing her to all the good things life has to offer. With time, love, and a little encouragement, this shy girl is sure to blossom into a loyal, loving companion.

This big beauty recently met some social dogs at our shelter and was a little scared of them. She wasn’t ready to play, but we hope that as she gets more experience in our shelter playgroups, she’ll be ready to show us her silly side with other dogs. Looking for a buddy for your dog? To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
