Great Dane and Black Labrador Retriever Dogs Available for Adoption

*Peca is arriving from Puerto Rico into foster in West Linn, OR as of March 18th. She is spayed and UTD on all shots*

Meet Peca! She is a fun, happy, friendly girl that loves to play; approx. 2 years old. Peca is enjoying a new lifestyle - one where she isn't required to be on a 5 ft chain and pump out babies. :(

We sterilized her, got clean bloodwork, and she's on her monthly preventatives meds (flea, tick, and heartworm prevention). We are teaching her how to be a beloved family member. As such, leash walks, sleeping inside, basic commands are new to her and she's doing great so far! She is working on recall and loves treats. She will always come up to give her caregivers loves and attention. But, man... she loves to romp and play with all the dogs! We haven't cat tested her yet, but hope to do so before she leaves the island. If not, her foster has a savvy cat that will show Peca how to respectfully engage with feline friends. :) Peca will do well with a home that has another dog, or by herself if her human is around a lot to help her burn energy off and continue her journey to her best-pet-self.
