Thunder does best with dog-savvy humans who can set clear, consistent boundaries without being harsh. He's clever and confident—if you're not paying attention, he will outsmart you. In the right hands, though, he absolutely shines.

He's good with kids but, due to his activity level, we recommend a home with children past the toddler stage.

Thunder can be standoffish with new people at first, but that's just him deciding who belongs in his circle. Once trust is built, his loyalty and affection are unmatched.
