To no fault of his own, he was loaded onto a truck with several other dogs, and taken to a new owner, new state, new climate, and new life. Though life here was supposed to be temporary (while the owners got back on their feet), months passed and their will to reclaim their beloved pet drifted away.
Simba is a smaller guy, weighing around 50 lbs. He has his best friend, Callie, and four other fur babies that his spends his days with. He's very loving, takes treats gently, loves belly rubs, and is a great alert dog if something is out of sorts.
This sweet boy landed at a rescue, and months of keeping him safe for the family, that very family just informed us that they no longer want him nor Callie back.
