Golden Retriever Dogs Available for Adoption

Meet Bon Jovi! Or Bonbon as we've come to call him. Bon Jovi is a 5 month old, 20 pound, Golden Retriever, male puppy. This little lad has big floppy ears he's yet to grow into. We estimate he will be 60-70 pounds fully grown.

A sweet puppy that wants everyone to be his best friend, Bon Jovi has boundless energy for running away, wrestle with toys and jumping up to say hello. This incredibly sweet boy will need a family that can give him both the time and patience to train him into some good habits and house train him. Socially, Bon Jovi would do great with anyone and everyone, a sweet boy who just wants to share his affections and be loved on.

Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance
SPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.

ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 months.
