Rowdy - Golden Retriever and Great Pyrenees Dog Available for Adoption in Plainfield, Illinois

Meet Rowdy, an irresistibly sweet (and fluffy) pup with a heart just as soft as his coat. His mom was a Golden Retriever mix and his dad a Great Pyrenees mix, giving him the perfect blend of bravery, affection, and playful spirit and he will be over 50lbs. He’s already working hard on crate training and potty training and making great progress. He was born around March 1.

Rowdy is the adventurous sibling—brave, curious, and always ready to be on the go. His favorite thing in the world is playing, whether it’s with a human or another dog. He does wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and loves making new friends. When playtime winds down, he’s more than happy to curl up for cuddles.

We are looking for active families who are home often and can provide a structured, physically and mentally stimulating environment for Rowdy so he can grow up to be the best adult fur friend ever. Kids 6 and older in adoptive families are preferred.

The adoption fee of $600 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm, and any other necessary medical treatment to ensure a healthy new pup for your family.
