Oakley is the kind of dog who radiates joy wherever she goes. At 3 years old, this beautiful Golden Retriever is the perfect blend of playful energy and loyal companionship. She’s confident, deeply loving, and truly one of the happiest dogs you’ll ever meet.

What Oakley Loves
* Tennis balls? Absolutely.
* Her beloved “Lamby” toy? Obsessed.
* Running, hiking, and playing outdoors? Yes, please!

She would thrive with an active family who enjoys daily walks, runs, and weekend adventures. Oakley would make an incredible running or hiking partner.

Social Butterfly
* Loves dogs! She can be a little hyper during play so she would do best with a patient, playful furry companion.
*Great with cats (previous owner had cats).
She adores kids but doesn’t quite realize her size when she gets excited—her happy wiggles can accidentally knock little ones over!

Home Life
* Kennel trained – sleeps quietly all night. Very calm and well-mannered in her crate.
*She was previously an outdoor dog. Now she is about 90% potty trained on one level of my home; she’ll just need gradual confidence-building with full house access (like a puppy would).
* Great during bath time and even tolerates a high-velocity blow dryer like a champ.
*Oakley needs a yard with a tall, secure fence so she can safely enjoy her outdoor time.

On the Go
Oakley gets a little nervous in the car, but with a crate or secure hammock setup, she does great—no whining!

Training
She already knows:
* Sit
* Lay down
* Wait/Stay
* Leave it
She’s currently working on leash skills and will need continued guidance. With consistency and positive reinforcement, she’ll continue to shine.
