Golden Retriever Dogs Available for Adoption

Top of the morning to you! My name is McDougal, and I’m a handsome Golden Retriever/Irish Wolfhound lad, about 5 years old and weighing 82 pounds—though I could stand to gain a cozy 6–7 more.

I’m feeling incredibly lucky that GRCGLA Rescue pulled me from the shelter, and I’m ready to shine like a freshly polished shamrock! The wonderful volunteers are helping me get all cleaned up and looking my very best.

I’ve already shown everyone what a good boy I am—I ride nicely in the car, know how to sit and lie down, and I’m very generous with my kisses (it’s my way of saying thank you!). I’m also already neutered and up to date on all my vaccines, which means I’m ready to head straight to my forever home without delay.

Now all I need is a loving family and a cozy cottage to call my own—perhaps at the end of your rainbow?

GRCGLARescue adopts within the counties of Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and San Diego. Because we do require pre-adoption screening and post-adoption follow-up, we cannot support adoptions outside of this service area.
