I’m Copper — one of the two emaciated boys who came to the shelter on December 15th. My brother Cash and I were so very thin that we couldn’t even regulate our own body temperature. It was a scary time… but look at me now!

✨ And SO ready for my forever home!
I’ve gained enough healthy weight that the doctors were able to complete all of my medical work — and I am officially cleared for adoption! 🎉
(My brother Cash is doing amazing too! He just needs about 5 more pounds before he’ll be ready.)

🎾 I LOVE — I mean really LOVE — to play ball! If you throw it, I will chase it. Every. Single. Time.
🏡 I am house trained
🐕 I’m good with other dogs
🚗 Car rides? Yes please!
🦮 Pretty good on a leash
❤️ And I absolutely adore people
I have oodles and bunches of energy, so I’m hoping for an active family who wants a loyal best friend, an adventure buddy, and a world-class fetch champion all in one gorgeous golden package.
Most of all, I’m looking for the love and kindness I should have had from the very beginning.
