Meet Randy Travis-though his foster family has lovingly nicknamed him "Happy," and one look at his face makes it easy to see why.

Randy Travis is a 50 lb Golden Retriever mix with a joyful spirit and an incredibly gentle heart. From the moment he arrived in our care, he's shown us just how special he is-greeting the world with a wagging tail, bright eyes, and an open, trusting nature.

He has done wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes and especially enjoys playful interactions with larger companions - making fast friends with his Belgian foster brother! Randy Travis is also fantastic with children (his foster "siblings" are 5-9), meeting everyone he encounters with a calm, friendly demeanor-and he's always up for a good time, especially when it comes to dance parties with the kids in his foster home! We're happy to share that he has passed his cat test, making him a great candidate for a home with feline friends as well.

True to his nickname, "Happy" is as sweet and easygoing as they come. He's a submissive, affectionate boy who thrives on connection and brings a sense of warmth and joy wherever he goes. His soulful eyes and loving personality make it hard not to fall for him instantly.
