Arkey was found as a stray in a rural town. Someone saw him looking for food and asked if we could help. We were able to save him, and he is now in our care in a foster home. He has completed his veterinary care, so he’s ready for adoption. We know he’ll make his new family very happy.
Arkey is a laid back boy, and does great with other dogs of any size. He has been with kids as young as 5, and he loves them too. He is leash trained and house trained. He is very quiet and rarely barks. He loves pets and a comfy dog bed.
Arkey is 5 years old and weighs 80 pounds. He’s a Golden Retriever mix. He is neutered, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. He is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
Arkey can arrive in Glastonbury, Connecticut on 4/25. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application found here: https://throwadogabone.org/adopt.
