Golden Retriever and Shepherd Dogs Available for Adoption

Teddy Bear was a stray dog that ended up in an overcrowded very loud high kill shelter. He was not sure where he was or why he was there. The barking of other dogs was deafening at times. We met this handsome boy at the shelter and he broke our hearts and we knew we had to save him. He went to an amazing foster home, where he had time to decompress. Then his foster mom starting working with him and he has blossomed into a GREAT dog!

Teddy Bear came into his foster home and became a member of a pack of six. He was shy at first but the other dogs helped him to feel comfortable. He is a dog who borrows confidence from a dog buddy so we think the best home for him would be one with another dog! His foster mom said he is a Gentle Giant, who shows no aggression. He loves playing with big balls, chew toys, and playing with his doggie friends. Teddy likes peeking through the fence at his neighbor doggie friend! He will be your Loyal companion and love his person(s) so much! Teddy loves kids too!

Teddy Bear has blossomed into a social boy with people and dogs! He wants loving from his person and will head butt his foster for attention! He will come and lean on his person for attention and he loves to sit close to you on the couch! He is such a Lover boy and would love to Cuddle with you on the couch! He will carry his toys around and is so happy!

Teddy Bear is an approximately 65 lb, two years old, golden retriever/ shepherd mix. He is a tall boy and stands approximately 23” at his shoulders. Teddy is house trained, crate trained, vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. This handsome, loving boy is ready to find his forever home!
