DESCRIPTION
Meet Mia!
Mia is a sweet, gentle approximately 1-year-old Great Pyrenees mix who loves spending her days outdoors soaking up the sunshine. She has a curious nature, especially when it comes to cats, and enjoys the company of other dogs, though she would be just as happy as the center of her family’s world. Mia is both house trained and crate trained, making her an easy addition to a loving home. With her calm, affectionate personality and love for simple joys—like a sunny day and the occasional hamburger treat—Mia is ready to find a family who will cherish her as much as she’ll adore them.
To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
ABOUT: GOLDEN RETRIEVER DOG BREED
The Golden Retriever is a friendly, intelligent, and gentle dog breed known for its golden colored, water repellent coat. They are highly sociable and great with families, children, and other pets, making them popular as therapy and service dogs. With a love for outdoor activities and water, Golden Retrievers excel in various dog sports like agility and obedience. They require regular exercise, mental stimulation, and grooming to maintain their health and happiness. Overall, the Golden Retriever is a versatile and beloved companion dog breed.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
