Golden Retriever and Chocolate Labrador Retriever Dogs Available for Adoption

Meet Ryder! He is two-and-a-half months old, is neutered and is available for adoption at Michiana Humane Society from 3:00pm-6:00pm CST on Thursday, February 12th! We were told that he is a lab/golden retriever mix. We do expect him to be a larger boy when fully grown; possibly 60+ pounds. As always, we cannot guarantee and breed/size, etc.

Ryder was just a newborn baby when he arrived so we were grateful to have a willing and extremely capable puppy foster home for him to grow up in!

Here is what Ryder's foster mom wanted you to know about him...

"Ryder is a super sweet puppy mix with a heart of gold. This super sweet and chill boy has puppy dog eyes that should be illegal. He melts my heart on a daily.

Ryder is learning his name and will follow me around like a little shadow. He does great with the big dogs and is eager to learn the ropes.

He will make a great addition to any family that is looking for a playful yet chill companion." -Ryder's foster mom.

As with any puppy, Ryder will need his adopter to continue to teach him about being house-trained. We'd also love him to grow up into an awesome, well-socialized adult dog so puppy training and socialization classes would be great for him!

Ryder is at a wonderful age to positively introduce to other furry friends as well as respectful kiddos. He is waiting to meet you at MHS!
