Giant Schnauzer and Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption

Hi there! My name is Dax and I am a three-year-old giant Schnauzer mix that is looking to find a great new home. I had a home that I loved, but financially things got a little "tight" and having a dog was stretching the budget way too far! So my owners decided to let me find a new home and they knew the shelter could help. The shelter checked me out and gave me all of my vaccinations, they gave me a microchip, and they made sure I was neutered. They did discover one little problem on my health check up. It seems that I am heartworm positive. But the shelter is going to help me get my treatment! In fact they already have my appointment set up to get things started! I sure hope someone will want to foster me through my treatment and then adopt me! Wow! That would be so great!!
