Tucker is settling into foster care and already making himself right at home. This 7-year-old German Shorthair Pointer is a 64-pound sweetheart with a gentle personality and a soft spot for human attention.
Tucker is neutered, house trained, and used to living as an indoor dog. He’s described as a very sweet boy who loves to cuddle and be close to his people. He may greet you with some excitement at first, but that quickly turns into affection and loyalty. He’s even been known to “sing” a little, which just adds to his charm.
He has lived with other dogs and done well, though we always recommend proper introductions. He hasn’t been around cats, so that’s an unknown. With kids, Tucker does great—he just may need a moment to settle from his initial excitement.
Tucker doesn’t have a hunting background and is simply looking for a home where he can be a companion. If you’re looking for a laid-back, affectionate dog who enjoys both snuggles and a little personality, Tucker is your guy.
Tucker is being fostered in Waterloo, Iowa. If you are interested in giving him a forever home, complete the adoption form here: ADOPT ME
