Hi, I’m Basil! I’m a 10-week-old German Shorthaired Pointer mix weighing about 8 pounds, and I’m a happy little guy with a big personality. I came from a high-kill shelter in Alabama, but I’m safe now and ready to find a forever home to call my own. I love to play, explore everything around me, and then settle in for some cozy naps.

I’ll need a family that’s patient and ready to help me grow. With my breed mix, I’m likely to be smart, active, and eager to learn, making me a great companion for a family that enjoys playtime and staying active. I also love attention and being close to my people.

I will come neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives. If you’re looking for a playful, loving puppy to add to your family, I might be the perfect match. I’m being fostered in Waterford, Michigan.
