DESCRIPTION

Meet Daisy Bee!

Daisy Bee has a calm loyal personality. She was found during the Texas freeze in January, hiding under a house to stay warm and occasionally coming out to look for the puppies that had been taken from her. When we found her she was thin, cold, dehydrated, and exhausted. Thankfully a wonderful foster family said yes to taking her in and now she is healthy and thriving!

Daisy Bee enjoys walks in the woods, running and pack walking with her foster sister, chewing on BeneBones, and sleeping in her own bed at night. She picks up routines quickly and is fully kennel and potty trained. She walks well on a leash and rides great in the car. She is friendly with everyone she meets, however she will protect her home if a stranger comes inside (when her family isn't there).

She’s plays nicely with both large and small dogs and shows friendly interest in the neighboring dogs as well. She loves attention, knows her name, and comes when called. She does have a bit of wanderlust and will try to escape the yard to sniff around if her foster isn't outside with her, so a home with a fenced in yard would probably be best.

Daisy is such a sweet and gentle soul that is looking for her person. She would fit into so many different types of lifestyles and really just wants to be included and loved. Given her incredibly hard start to life we think she deserves that.

We think Daisy is a pointer mix, however we do not DNA test our rescue pups so that is just our best guess. We estimate she is around 3yrs old and currently weighs 55lbs; though she is still thin and could stand to gain a few lbs.

Daisy is currently being fostered in Houston Texas but is available for adoption many places across the country. The adoption fee of $600 includes the cost of transport. She is currently going through heartworm treatment and will be ready to transport in April.
