Onyx is still a puppy and has that playful, curious energy, but he's also a loyal, affectionate dog who forms a strong bond with his person. He likes to stay close, follow you around, and settle near you in the home.
Onyx was adopted but recently returned due to reactivity with new people and other dogs, driven by low confidence.
He has since completed a 2-week board and train with JPK9 Oklahoma and has made solid progress. He can now be neutral in public with people and dogs (with proper guidance) and has a solid foundation in leash walking, heeling, and basic obedience.
He's food motivated and continues to build confidence with structure and guidance.
His training support continues for life, including weekly group classes (Tulsa/OKC) and 1:1 sessions as needed.
Onyx will need a foster or adopter who can provide structure and continue his training.
