Hans was the most feral of the group, having stayed with his mom right up until the moment she was caught. His world changed but he joined his siblings, and has been learning and growing every day. Mom has already found her forever home, and now it’s Hans’s turn.
Hans is incredibly smart and, while a bit reserved at first, he is truly affectionate once he feels safe. His tail will wag, he’ll give gentle kisses, and he clearly wants connection—he just prefers that you don’t chase him. He can spook easily, but the wonderful thing about Hans is that he always comes back.
He gets along great with other dogs, has been exposed to small dogs and even a kitten, and has done well with all of them. Hans will need a patient, understanding home where he can continue building trust at his own pace. We are guessing him to be a five month old German shepherd mix .
And those markings? Absolutely stunning—just like the special soul behind them.
Hans is looking for someone willing to give him time, kindness, and consistency at a slow pace . In return, you’ll get a loyal, loving companion who’s worth every bit of the wait. 💙
Hans has had age-appropriate vaccinations and will need to be neutered at six months of age. If interested, please click on the link below for an adoption application.
