German Shepherd Dog Dogs Available for Adoption

Zeina is with an experienced foster but is in not in rescue . Her foster mom will drive to meet partway, or possibly farther. Zeina is a lovely dog.

Zeina is a beautiful, smart 3 year old 65 pound German Shepherd Dog. She is fostered in Jewell, Oregon, between Portland and the coast.

She is smart and learns quickly. She is house trained and knows how to ring a bell hanging on the door to ask to go out. She knows many training cues. She is crate trained, leash trained, loves car rides. Ziena gets along with other larger dogs, larger farm animals like goats, and is good with kids over 7 with great dog manners and dog experience.

Ziena makes whining and other vocalizations to communicate. . She is not a big barker. She quickly attaches to her new people. Like many of her breed, she is very attached to her people.

Zeina is spayed and vaccinated.

She is learning new skills every day: sit, down, sit pretty, and to go where her foster is pointing. She crates easily and is calm in her crate.

A great home for this beautiful dog and her must haves include:
1. An owned home with a securely fenced yard.
2. Folks not gone long hours. Zeina is in training to be able to be crated at home for up to 6 hours and is doing well.
3. Zeina will do well in a home where her exercise needs are met.
4. Adopters that treat their pets as family members.
5. Zeina will do well with respectful children over age 7, medium to large dogs, and farm animals that are goat sized or larger. She does have prey drive towards small animals, though has not harmed any.
