What we know: Single male transferred from Stray Hearts Animal Shelter in NM. No information known about story before rescue. Came to CPR at approximately 3 months old.
From the foster: Wallace is the type of puppy that makes it seem like having a puppy is easy. That makes you want to have four dogs even though the county says three is the max. The kind that makes you think getting a second pup is really the only reasonable option. In other words, he is a fantastic puppy. He is the whole package: fun, playful, independent and just about the cutest. He will be easy to train. He is still working on his puppy manners but he responds really well to redirection. He has some herding tendencies and can startle easily so he'll need patience and correction from other dog friends and if families have small children. Lots of toys are a must. He'll be easy to continue potty training as he knows outside means it's time for business. He will also be sleeping through the night before you know it. He whines or sometimes cries when first going into his kennel but he settles within a few minutes. Wallace really prefers Wally, and will be an absolute gem to make your forever friend!
