***ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS-WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR MEET AND GREETS ON APRIL 15, 2026!!!!
Arnold is a young German Shepherd mix, about 1 year old and roughly 85 pounds. He came to the shelter as a stray and no one came looking for him.
Arnold still has plenty of puppy mannerisms and doesn’t always realize just how big he is. He’s a very smart dog, but like many young shepherds he’s still figuring things out and learning how to use all that brain and energy.
He keeps his kennel clean and has done well meeting most of the other dogs he has been introduced to here.
Shepherd mixes like Arnold tend to do best when they have both physical exercise and things to keep their mind busy. He will benefit from someone willing to continue working with him as he matures.
Like any dog leaving the shelter, Arnold will need some decompression time as he settles into a home and learns new household routines. Time, patience, and consistency will help him succeed.
Arnold has been heartworm tested and is current on deworming and monthly preventatives. He will be neutered and microchipped prior to adoption.
