Axel is a stunning 3-year-old sable boy weighing about 75 pounds, and he's just as handsome as he is sweet. He recently came to us from a shelter in Ohio, where he had been picked up as a stray. While we don't know much about his life before arriving there, we're excited to help him start a brand-new chapter with a loving family.
Axel is now neutered and up to date on all of his vaccines, so he's well on his way to being adoption-ready. During his routine veterinary care, he did test positive for Lyme and Anaplasma. The good news is that he has already started treatment for both and is expected to make a full recovery. Our team will be happy to talk with potential adopters about what that means and answer any questions.
