Adoption Event Schedule

Events run from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM every month at these locations:

2nd Saturday, Sacramento - Pet Food Express

3rd Saturday, Modesto - Strand Hardware Store

4th Saturday, Roseville - Pet Food Express

All of our dogs are in foster homes and not in one single kennel location. Adoption events is the best way to meet several of our dogs at once.

How this lovely girl spent 2.5 months in the shelter without interest is beyond us. Cami has some pretty good house manners. She is housebroken, will sit for her meal, and will run to join her foster brother out in the yard while her humans are at work. She apparently is used to having snuggle time with her humans on the sofa, but is easy to remove if you don’t want her there. Cami plays nicely with the other dogs in her foster home and walks fairly well on a leash. She also will settle in and ride quietly in the car.Level 2

For more information and to see when this dog will be attending an Adoption Day, please see our Dogs page on our main website. (Adoption Process) We operate within a reasonable driving distance from the Greater Sacramento area, the Central Valley down to Merced, and Lake Tahoe. A reasonable driving distance is determined by where one of our volunteers is willing to drive within our areas of service. That means we don't adopt out of our area, to Southern California, or out of state.
