Collin is a 12-week-old Shepherd/Husky mix who is equal parts curious explorer, playful goofball, and sweet snuggle buddy. He's smart, growing quickly (sometimes a little clumsy as he figures out his legs!), and already showing how eager he is to learn.
Collin is a typical active, playful puppy who runs full steam ahead until his body needs rest and will then sleep deeply for half hour bursts. He loves discovering the world around him--whether that's romping in fresh snow, investigating new smells outside, or engaging in an intense game of tug-of-war with his foster brother. Because he's adventurous and clever (he can even escape an x-pen), he'll need a secure fenced yard to keep him safe while he explores. He has not been introduced to a walking leash yet.
Collin has a great history with other dogs and thrives with his foster brother. When he sees other dogs out and about, he stops and watches with bright curiosity. He has met cats briefly and seemed interested in making friends, but a proper introduction is recommended. He does well with kids, though he will do best with dog-savvy children while he works through his teething phase.
He is making progress with potty training and is almost puppy-pad trained. While crate training is still in progress, he much prefers snoozing near his humans. Collin is vocal in the most delightful way--full of squeaks, noisy yawns, playful growls, and the occasional "serious" puppy bark when the vacuum appears.
Collin is looking for a patient, loving home ready for puppy antics and outdoor adventures!
