✅ Age-appropriate vaccines
✅ Dewormer
✅ Microchip
✅ Spay/Neuter (completed prior to adoption, unless medically/age deferred)
✅ Heartworm test (if old enough)
✅ If heartworm positive: started on heartworm medication/treatment plan
