Iris is a beautiful 3 year-old German Shepherd weighing about 55 lbs. She was rescued from a breeder situation and is now ready to start her next chapter — this time as a cherished family member.

Iris is incredibly sweet and affectionate. Once she bonds with you, she truly loves her people and enjoys being close. She’s such a sweetheart.

She has had obedience training and already knows her basics, which gives her a wonderful foundation in the home.

Iris is also great with kids! Her foster parents have children, and they get along so well. She’s gentle, loving, and enjoys being part of the family.

She does well around other dogs in structured settings, but she will thrive best as the only dog in the home where she can soak up all the love and attention. Iris would do best with a confident owner familiar with the breed who can continue providing guidance, structure, and consistency.
