Meet Taz, ready for adoption
Greetings potential new humans. You are likely wondering how a handsome, obedient boy with a heck of a sit ended up in need of a new home.
Unfortunately, I was owner surrendered by my Mom who lost our home and had to move back to California to live with her parents to get on her feet. I was not able to go along. So here I am, in Texas, waiting to start a new chapter.
Rescue Mom Patricia says I’m perfection. The epitome of a classic loyal distinguished German Shepherd.
My previous Mom did a good job because I am so smart, so well behaved, so loyal, so gentle, and Rescue Mom never has to repeat a command twice. I stop in my tracks when she says so. I’d be really good at Simon Says, because I already do Patricia Says and I will do what you says too.
I’m at a very busy rescue house with lots of dogs, puppies, from size Chihuahua to Shepherd. Rescue Mom says with so many rowdy dogs it’s nice to have one that watches her back and is right there when she needs me. I even used my natural shepherding skills to encourage other rambunctious dogs to give newbie dogs some space.
I am size large, 5 years old, classic deep black saddle with peanut butter points, house trained crate trained, good with dogs and kids and cats.
My owner surrender was definitely a tearjerking experience. I’m thankful my previous Mom trained me so well because it’s going to make a new family really happy.
