Jerry found himself at the shelter through no fault of his own-his previous family simply didn't have enough time for him.
Described by his former owner as a gentle giant, Jerry has lived with three young children under the age of five and did wonderfully with them. He truly enjoys people of all ages and has a kind, affectionate nature that makes him an easy companion.
Jerry is an active boy who loves to play-especially with his favorite toy, a soft ball-sized ball-and he absolutely adores water! Whether it's splashing around or joining you for outdoor fun, Jerry is always ready to go.
He gets along with other dogs, but he can be a bit unaware of his size and sometimes plays a little too enthusiastically for smaller pups, so a meet-and-greet is recommended to ensure a good fit.
Jerry is house-trained and will let you know when he needs to go out. He's used to sleeping in his kennel with the door open and already knows basic commands like sit and shake. He's a smart boy who will thrive with a family that can give him the time, love, and structure he deserves.
If you're looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion with a big heart to match his size, Jerry might just be your perfect match.
