More About Amber Rose Couch Cuddling Cutie
Amber Rose is basically a ridiculously soft teddy bear who comes with her own purple tongue, a weakness for Chick-fil-A fries, and a heart that loves with everything it has. She may be a little shy when you first get to know her, but give her a little patience and something tasty, and you will begin to see the affectionate, silly, deeply devoted girl hiding underneath. Once Amber decides you are her person, she is all in. She will happily curl up beside you on the couch, roll over for belly rubs, and make herself your softest and sweetest little shadow.

Amber is approximately 4 years old and currently weighs around 47 pounds. We believe she may be a German Shepherd Dog and Chow mix, especially with that classic purple tongue of hers, but with animal rescue, breed and age are always a mystery and our best guesses.
Amber is dog friendly and has done well with the dogs we have introduced her to. Much like she is with people, she prefers to take a little time getting to know her doggy friends before immediately jumping into play. She is not an overly playful dog, but when the mood strikes, she enjoys chase-style play much more than physical wrestling. Amber could live happily with a compatible dog friend, but we also think she would love being your one and only fur baby so she could soak up all the affection for herself. No kitties for Amber, please.
This sweet girl has a wonderful medium-energy personality and is good at adjusting to what you need from her. She could join you for a leisurely walk along a nature trail, keep you company while you relax on the back porch, or cuddle beside you on the couch during a rainy afternoon. She is the perfect mix of cuddles, adventure, and just enough silliness to keep life fun.
Amber absolutely loves treats, and food is one of the quickest ways to her heart. Chick-fil-A french fries are an especially big favorite, making her a pretty fantastic lunch buddy. She takes treats gently and already knows how to sit. She also loves playing with toys, and that is when the puppy hiding inside her makes an adorable appearance. She will happily entertain herself by tossing toys into the air, shaking them around, and dropping into playful bows as if she is inviting her toys to join the fun.
Amber is crate trained and generally seems comfortable relaxing in her crate. She is also potty trained and has shown us that she has great house manners. Because she enjoys having room to relax and explore, we believe she would be happiest in a home with a backyard rather than an apartment.
There is so much to love about Amber, from her beautiful face and velvety teddy bear fur to the way she pours affection into the people she trusts. She does not give her heart away immediately, but that only makes earning it feel even more special. If your idea of the perfect companion includes porch hangouts, cozy couch cuddles, peaceful adventures, silly toy sessions, and the occasional shared french fry, Amber may be exactly the girl your heart has been waiting for.
We are willing to test Amber Rose with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know.

We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+. Adoption fees help cover a portion of these expenses, but without government funding, we rely on fundraising to bridge the gap—ranging from $100–$1,000+ per dog.
