At just 8 weeks old, Jessie was rescued from a reservation in Cuba, New Mexico.
Unfortunately her rescue situation couldn’t give her the protection she needed, and she experienced far more hardship than any young dog ever should. Eventually, Jessie and her sister, Honey, found their way to Annie’s Orphans, where true healing finally began. While Honey continues her own path toward recovery, Jessie has shown everyone something extraordinary.
She shows trust, love and playfulness with all the new people she is meeting at Annie’s.
Jessie would thrive with an adopter who enjoys adventure, an avid hiker, an outdoor explorer, or someone with space to run and stretch her legs. Whether it’s trails, open land, or long walks under wide skies, Jessie is ready to discover life the way she always deserved to.
At just over a year old, Jessie has so much ahead of her. She’s gentle, affectionate, and deeply loyal once she feels safe. She’s looking for a home that will offer patience, consistency, and the kind of love that lasts. Jessie is not defined by what she endured; she is defined by her resilience, her joy, and her endless capacity to love. She has waited long enough for her forever. Will you be the one to show her the world?
