Meet Taz, a handsome 4-year-old, 82 pound German Shepherd with a big personality and an even bigger heart. With his expressive eyes, upright ears, and playful grin, Taz is sure to win you over quickly. He still has a fun, puppy-like spirit and loves being around his people. Taz is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and ready to find his forever home. He has been deeply loved, and due to a serious illness in the family, we are looking for a home where he can get the time and attention he truly deserves.

Taz is an active, playful, affectionate, and loyal companion who loves playing with his squeaky toys, fetch in the park, and going on car rides—heâ€ÂTMs always ready for an adventure. Prior to adopting Taz, he lived with corgis and has been around larger dogs, but may react when small dogs bark at him on walks, so he would do best with an experienced owner who can continue guiding him. Taz thrives with structure, exercise, and engagement, and would do best in a home that can provide an active lifestyle where he can go for walks, outdoors adventures, or just someone to play with! He is affectionate with his people and enjoys being near them, making him a wonderful and devoted companion.

Taz is house trained and does well going outside for bathroom breaks. He attended training school and knows a few basic commands, and would benefit from continued training to help him reach his full potential—heâ€ÂTMs a smart dog who just needs consistency. *Fun facts: He is not afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks. He loves to jump and play with water when I water the yard with the water hose.
