Churro - German Shepherd Dog and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Columbus, Georgia

Meet Churro, a handsome, big-hearted German Shepherd looking for a loving home and a person to share life's adventures with! At four years old, Churro is ready to find his forever family, preferably someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and appreciates having a loyal companion by their side.

Churro loves the great outdoors and would be thrilled to join you on daily walks, hikes, and all sorts of adventures. He's wonderful both inside and outside the home, and one of his best qualities is that he's fully house-trained and has never had an indoor potty accident!

When it comes to meeting new people, Churro can be a little nervous and anxious at first. He may bark when he's unsure of someone, but with patience, a calm introduction, and a little motivation (especially some chicken or meat treats!), he can warm up and become a friendly companion. He hasn't had much socialization training, so he'll need an owner willing to help him build confidence at his own pace.

Churro can potentially coexist with other dogs, but introductions should be handled professionally and carefully to help ensure a successful transition. He is best suited for a home without young children, as he finds their unpredictable behavior overwhelming and prefers to keep his distance.

Churro would love a spacious home with a well-maintained, securely fenced yard where he can stretch his legs, explore, and enjoy the outdoors. His ideal owner is active, confident, patient, and looking for a loyal companion who can also provide a sense of security. If you're interested in meeting Churro, please contact David at 352-665-2912.
