Lucky is a gorgeous German Shepherd who was surrendered when his previous owner no longer had time to care for him. He’s a sweet, loyal boy who really struggles in the busy shelter environment. Like most German Shepherds, Lucky thrives on a strong human bond, plenty of mental and physical activity, and lots of love — things that are hard for him to get while living in a kennel.
Lucky would do best as the only pet in the home, as he cannot live with cats or other dogs. He has been treated for heartworms and is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his core vaccines.
Because he’s a breed that needs experienced, confident guidance, we’re looking for an adopter who has German Shepherd experience and can give Lucky the structure and affection he needs.
If you’d like more information or an adoption application, please email adoptionsmanager@hsscg.org
