Meet Valcery, a truly gorgeous girl who is more than ready to leave the shelter behind and settle into a home of her own.
Valcery has been with us for a few weeks now, just long enough for us to really get to know her heart. She can be a little timid when you first meet her, but give her a moment and you will see her walls come down. Once she trusts you, she leans into her people with so much affection, the kind that makes it clear she has known what it means to be someone’s beloved pet before.
She does well with other dogs and would likely enjoy a canine companion, but she is not a good fit for a home with cats. Valcery is very much an indoor kind of girl and prefers the comfort and safety of being inside rather than spending lots of time outdoors. Sweet, loving, and absolutely beautiful, she is just waiting for someone to see her for who she is and give her the second chance she deserves.
Valcery weighs 40 pounds at 4 years old. She has been vaccinated, treated for internal/external parasites and has tested negative for heartworm disease.
