At just 1 year and 9 months old and 42 pounds, Luna is a beautiful young German Shepherd with so much love to give. She was adopted last week and heartbreakingly returned through no fault of her own. Sometimes life changes — but sweet Luna is still patiently waiting for the forever family she truly deserves.
Luna is incredibly smart and eager to please. She knows most of her commands, walks wonderfully on a leash, and loves having a job to do — just like a true German Shepherd. She’s attentive, loyal, and forms strong bonds with her people. Once she trusts you, she will be your most devoted companion.
She can be a little choosy about her dog friends, so proper introductions are important. Because of her breed traits and sensitivity, Luna would thrive best in a home with adults or older children who understand her needs and can give her the structure and consistency she deserves.
Luna isn’t looking for just any home — she’s looking for her person. Someone who will see past the return and recognize the incredible, loving, intelligent girl standing in front of them. She has so much potential and so much heart.
