Right before Christmas, sweet Hazel was spotted running along a fence line with a slight limp. One of our volunteers picked her up, scanned her, and we were so hopeful when we discovered she was microchipped. After several weeks of the microchip company attempting to reach her owner, it was determined they did not want her.

Hazel is a delightful young
German Shepherd
, about 1–2 years old. She is wonderful with children, walks beautifully on a leash, and is both house and crate trained. Despite everything she’s been through, her spirit is gentle, loving & loving.

Sometimes the greatest gift isn’t going back, it’s moving forward into a brighter future. Hazel’s story is just beginning, and we can’t wait to see her find the forever family she truly deserves.♥ï ̧
