Meet Nova: From Highway Heartbreak to Your New Best Friend!
Age: 10 Months | Breed: German Shepherd | Weight: Growing Girl! (55lbs)
Location: Louisiana (Heading to New England!)
Nova’s Story
Nova’s journey didn’t start with the love she deserved. In the sweltering heat of a Louisiana summer, she was found abandoned in a crate on the side of a highway. Thankfully, a local hero—a Good Samaritan—spotted her and took her in immediately. Since then, Nova has been thriving in a foster home, proving that despite her rough start, her heart remains as gold as her coat.
Personality & Training
Nova is a "best of all worlds" pup. She is the definition of resilient and has spent her time in foster care learning how to be the perfect family companion.
• Social Butterfly: Nova is incredibly friendly! She adores children and is a social star with other dogs and cats. She’s the type of girl who just wants everyone to be her friend.
• Smart & Eager: This girl is a typical German Shepherd—wicked smart and ready to please. She is already housetrained and knows her basic commands.
• Sweet Disposition: Despite her size, Nova is a gentle soul who just wants a lap to lean on and a family to call her own.
Nova is fully "vetted" and ready to roll!
• Spayed & Microchipped
• Up to date on all vaccinations
• Current on all flea/tick/heartworm preventatives
Nova has survived the heat and the hardship; now she’s looking for the cool breezes of New England. She deserves a family that will never leave her behind again. Is that you?
