DESCRIPTION
Starburst (A1914054) is a spayed female currently waiting for her new family at the Westside City Shelter. She is an energetic, playful girl who would love a home with room to run and a person who enjoys going on walks and adventures. Starburst is a smart cookie who has already had some training—she knows how to sit and lie down and is clearly ready to learn even more with a little time and consistency. She has gone on a Dog Day Out to Tingley Beach, where she did very well and showed what a fun companion she can be. She rides calmly in the car and loves to play fetch, making her a great partner for an active person or family. If you already have a dog at home, Starburst would need a meet-and-greet with your dog to be sure they’re a good match. If you’re looking for an affectionate, bright, and active dog to share your adventures, Starburst would love to meet you at the Westside City Shelter.
ABOUT: GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG DOG BREED
The German Shepherd Dog, known for its intelligence, loyalty, and versatility, is a popular and highly regarded breed worldwide. This breed excels in various roles such as police work, search and rescue, and assistance for individuals with disabilities. German Shepherd Dogs are strong, agile, and confident with a distinctive double coat that can be straight or wavy. Their character is marked by courage, loyalty, and a strong work ethic, making them ideal companions and protectors for families and professionals alike.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
