Roscoe is a gorgeous 1½-year-old male Shepherd mix with a heart as big as his personality. He was rescued from a high-kill shelter due to overcrowding, and despite his rough start, he’s an incredibly sweet and affectionate boy.

Roscoe is playful, affectionate, and loves making people smile. He already knows basic commands and is eager to continue learning. He enjoys playing with his in-home dog brothers and really loves play time. He also can chill out at the end of the day.

Roscoe is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, leash trained, house trained, and crate trained. He loves his toys and tennis balls, enjoys playtime, and gets along great with other dogs. He is also a great watch dog without excessive barking.

He would thrive in a home that will take him for walks (on or off leash) and provide a loving and nurturing home. Kids should be fine with slow introductions.

Roscoe is currently living with a foster in Arroyo Grande, California, where he’s doing wonderfully in a home environment.
