Please note, dogs in the Freedom Tails program will be in training for up to 12 weeks. During that time, it is the goal for the dog to be able to pass either the AKC K9 Good Citizen test and certification, or the Puppy S.T.A.R. certification.
You may schedule a meet/greet with the dog while it is still in the program. However, we request that final adoption not be completed until after they have finished their entire training. For questions, please reach out to us via email at: timbertailsk9@gmail.com
ABOUT THIS DOG: Waddell is one of the boys from the "Capitol litter." Mom was found abandoned in Capitol forest, pregnant and hungry.
Waddell is the most sensitive of the boys. He likes to know where his humans are, and will fuss when he is unsure. Due to his sensitive nature, he is very unsure of new things, and will vocalize his displeasure in changes.
But his sensitive side also means he is an all time great snuggler. He also is super photogenic, always having a perfect pose for the camera since he was a little puppy.
His handler in the Freedom Tails (FT) Program is working with him on building confidence. During his time at FT, he will be exposed to a variety of daily sensory inputs that will help him learn that scary things and changes are not something to be feared.
To meet Waddell, please fill out an application. Meet and Greets can occur while the dog is still enrolled in the FT program.
