Ace (A141297) is a 1-year-old German Shepherd mix who weighed 64.4 pounds on intake! 03/04/26 This energetic pup is Ace! Ace was surrendered to the shelter due to no fault of his own. He was described as outgoing, friendly, and affectionate dog who doesn’t quite understand his size. Where he does great with kiddos he was known to jump on people and might knock the smaller children over. He was said to love women but had less experience with men. Ace does not have experience with smaller critters like cats or pocket pets and can be skeptical of other dogs until appropriate introductions are made. He was said to be kennel trained, rides well in a car, knows his basic commands. Ace was said to be mostly housebroken and will whine at the door when he needs to go outside. He does still have the occasional accident and is looking for a patient owner who can keep him on a good potty routine. Ace would benefit from attending a basic obedience class with a certified trainer to continue working on his manners. He is a smart boy looking for a job and plenty of enrichment.
