DESCRIPTION
Meet Celine! She’s an outgoing and friendly puppy with lots of energy and love to give. She’s been living in foster care with an older dog and two cats. She enjoys chasing the cats and trying to get the older dog to play. She’s still working on her manners but is eager to learn. She is very treat motivated! At times, she can be protective of her food but has been getting along at dinner time eating meals with her foster brother. She understands and follows basic commands like sit and stay. After a busy day, she loves cuddles on the couch. She is always ready for belly rubs. Celine is “pen trained” and sleeps on her own every night. She does need frequent potty breaks. She has been friendly and gentle while meeting children on walks but slow and thoughtful introductions to children and other pets will set her up for success. Consistent training and routine will make Celine a great companion for any family. I’m currently in a loving foster home offsite! Please contact my foster parent, Mary, at mbncsandusky@gmail.com to inquire about me or set up a visit! Please allow up to 24 hours for my foster parent to respond. Inquiries are answered in the order received, and the foster parent will let you know your place in line if there are other interested adopters.
A meet-and-greet is required before adoption. Adopters should be available to meet within 48 hours of inquiring; otherwise, preference may be given to the next person in line who can meet sooner.
For everyone’s safety, current pets are not able to meet the foster animal before adoption.
After the meet-and-greet, you will have 24 hours to visit the HSPPR Adoptions Lobby (11:00am–4:30pm) to complete paperwork and finalize the adoption.
ABOUT: GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG DOG BREED
The German Shepherd Dog, known for its intelligence, loyalty, and versatility, is a popular and highly regarded breed worldwide. This breed excels in various roles such as police work, search and rescue, and assistance for individuals with disabilities. German Shepherd Dogs are strong, agile, and confident with a distinctive double coat that can be straight or wavy. Their character is marked by courage, loyalty, and a strong work ethic, making them ideal companions and protectors for families and professionals alike.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
