Meet Lainey, a 3 month old German Shepherd mix weighing 23 pounds who is an absolute sweetheart. Lainey only takes a moment to warm up to new people and when she does, she melts right into them.

Lainey loves being close to her people and enjoys attention, cuddles, treats, and playing with toys. She has the cutest face and ears, making her absolutely irresistible. She gets along well with kids and other dogs, making her a wonderful addition to a family home. Lainey prefers to go home without any cats.

This sweet, playful little girl is ready to find a loving family who will give her patience, affection, and plenty of fun as she grows into a loyal and happy companion.

Lainey is spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.

HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
